Dishforth Village is located at the junction of the A1 and the A168. Although there isn’t a village shop, it is handily located between Boroughbridge, Ripon and Thirsk.
The village has a school (Dishforth Cof E Primary School), a part time Post Office and two Public Houses. There is an active outdoor Bowling Club with a Sports field and Sports Pavillion. To the rear of the sports pavillion is a children’s play area.
In the centre of the village is the Village Hall, with wifi, which is available to hire for functions or classes.
